On The Road Again

We are leaving in the morning for Brimfield and won't be back for a couple of weeks! After the show we are going to Iowa on a shopping trip! I get to see Sharon's new shop, White!

I can't wait!

I can't believe it! We pulled it off! A months worth of work done in two weeks! Two very stressful weeks, but I'm pretty sure we are ready! We are leaving a couple of days early so we can stop and shop along the way! Maybe I can find some good junk! Can't wait!

Sweet Pea Collection

As promised here are a few pictures of Gloria's side of Winnie and Tulula's. I have so many good pictures but for some reason I can't get them to load right. Here are a some that were turned the right way! Gloria's displays are to die for, she is the Queen of decorating and her bedding is fabulous!

I am working like a crazy woman trying to get ready for Brimfield! That's why I haven't been blogging much! I miss looking at blogs and leaving comments, just don't have time right now! Hopefully things will start to fall together in a few days and I can get back to normal!

Winnie and Tulula's

The main reason I went to Texas was for the opening of Winnie and Tulula's in Athens! And boy was it exciting! People were lined up outside waiting for the magic moment! The pictures here are of the mall side of the shop. I will feature Gloria's side in the next post. This is not all the pictures I took I just couldn't get some of them to rotate the right way. So if I left you out of the post it wasn't on purpose. I will work on that problem later cause I have tons of work to do to get ready for Brimfield!

Finally Back on Line!

Guess what? My Internet service has been down again for 5 days! Ever since the Ice Storm we have experience problems is some form or fashion! Cable guy finally found a problem area today that had not been addressed before! I'm hoping this time everything is finally fixed! I have been dying to post more pictures of my trip, but just couldn't get connected to the Internet! I don't have time right now I have to work today! Stay tuned!

Jo Harman

I have so many pictures I didn't know where to start! I figured everyone will be showing pictures of Judy Hill's sale and the opening of Winnie and Tulula's, and I wanted to be different, so I would start with one of my favorite places that we went to shop!

This is Jo Harman's place in Quinlan (I think that's how you spell it) where she sells from a flea market! Let me tell you, this woman has great stuff and she should be in a real antique shop! She has great displays and her prices rock! She is so sweet! If you go see her you won't be sorry! I think Jo's place is one of those guarded little secrets that dealers don't like to share with everyone! But you gotta go and check her out!!

I'm Back!

I got back last night about 7:30 pm, And I am exhausted! We had a blast! Got lost several times! Your fired Theresa Cano! Ha! Ha! We logged about 2200 miles in a very short time! And I got some cool stuff! I took over 300 hundred pictures, but you know, I don't think I took pictures of the stuff I bought! That was dumb! I will do a post with pictures later today, as I need time to sort through them! Stay tuned!

I really hate to gloat, wait a minute, no I don't! I'm going to Texas for Judy Hills open house and the opening of Winne and Tulula's!! Did I say I can't hardly wait? I am so excited I can't hardly stand myself! And best of all I have the worlds most informed Antique Shop tour guide that's going to take me to all the shops we can possible cram in on this trip! So I'll be MIA for about a week! Wish I could take you all with me! (not really, then I couldn't get all the good stuff!) Hee! Hee! Later!

A Garden To Remember

Aimee from A Garden to Remember e-mailed and ask if I would feature her line of French Inspired Pillows on my blog. I love these, I think they are great! She has a wonderful web site and I think you should check it out! And she told me she does wholesale for all you shop owners that would love to carry this line in your shop!

Not sure whats is going on with blogger, but it's not letting me type where I want to! I prefer the picture to be on top, but I'm over ruled!

New Booth

I finally got finished with my booth on Tuesday! It's huge! That means lots of inventory! Hopefully that means lots of sales! I sold a few small things while I was decorating! I still have a few things to add, but it was nearing 5pm and the mall was closing. I almost forgot to take pictures, so if these are a little fuzzy, (some of my pictures didn't turn out at all) it was because I was in a hurry! I love this new space, I think it will draw customers in! Hope so, cause I'd like to keep it for a long time!

I usually don't do fresh paint, but I'm testing the market in Shelbyville to see what they want!

I hope ironstone never goes out of style, cause I love it!

Small vignette!

My booth is in the middle of the mall, means I only have a back wall. I put up a structure in the middle, but the picture didn't turn out. I will show it later.

The mall owners took this pie safe in on consignment, and ask if I would incorporate with my things! I think it looks just like something I would buy!

Larger Booth Space

I worked all day Sat. and Mon. moving my stuff to a larger booth space in Shelbyville Antique Market. Of course I am adding tons of stuff as well. Stay tuned for pictures, hopefully I can get done today, still have several totes to unload!

Spring Brimfield

We had a great turn out in Brimfield, people were out in droves! And we sold a ton of stuff! The crowds were much bigger at Brimfield, than they were in Texas! The weather was cold and we had some rain, but sales were strong!

This show is hard for me cause we only have one day to set up! As opposed to 4 days in Texas! But we are aren't dealing with as much merchandise either!

We met some great bloggers while we were there, hope I can get them all right! First was Tracy of White Home Collections, then I met Keri from Antique Therapy, and finally I met the mother, daughter team from Keeping Good Company. Several more came by when I was busy and I failed to get a card or write their name down! Sorry about the names, but thanks for stopping by to see me! E-mail me and I can add you to the list.
